While doing some research on the camp I found this picture of an early 1940's camp patch. Camp Cabarrus has also played an important role in our Order of the Arrow history in our state all the way back to the 1930's
Camp Cabarrus 1937
As you walk into Eagle Hall you walk back into history of the camp. Some of the original buildings are still here. On the walls of Honor you find Eagle Scouts from decades ago, many who have passed on, some who serve our troops today and some that have just completed their journey. Also you will find our decorated Silver Beaver Awards and of course the Order of the Arrow Lodge.
As you walk down by the lake you can almost hear the laughter of skits from Camporees long past or even smell the smoke of Campfires in the amphitheater but most of all you realize your are a part of the camps history being made.
